My wife and I met Derick Holsonback while doing some open house browsing back in mid-2016. We immediately fell in love with his personality and his ability to hold a conversation without pushing a house onto us or even mentioning it in our conversation. He established a relationship with us in the short 30 minutes that we encountered him and it stuck with us for quite a while to the point that we told ourselves when the time came that we were able to purchase a home, with no doubt in our mind we would use him. Fortunately that time came in the end of 2016 and early 2017 when we reached out to him and told him that we were pre-approved and ready to shop. Being active, we had already lined up a list of properties that we wanted to see. Derick made the calls and gathered as much details about each of the listings and then mapped out the most efficient way to visit them all on a timeline that we had established. I will admit, the first 5 we looked at turned our stomachs as they were completely opposite of what we were looking for even though we had selected them based on the pictures. In a sense it was similar to one of those online dating site incidents where you show up and it does not look anything like the picture. Lol!!! Finally, we found a new build by SEDA that was at the peak of our price range at $350k, however it was our absolute dream. We told Derick it was the one for us and he took all the steps to set it up and make it attainable for us to include some tough negotiations. Throughout the entirety of the home buying process, Derick never once pushed a home on us or even made a suggestion that would have been considered being pushy. He wanted to make sure that we were happy regardless of how many homes we looked at and that we took our time to ensure we found the perfect fit. After this great experience we even referred him over to my step children’s father and he was able to help him locate a new home as well and close on it. This guy will make it happen and ensure that you are getting exactly what you want and nothing less. Being a medically retired veteran I held him to high standards and he met and exceeded everyone. Amazing Agent!!!!!
