Dr. Susan Block Institute

The Dr. Susan Block Institute for the Erotic Arts & Sciences is an internationally renowned center for sex education, exploration, expression, research and therapy, founded in 1991 by Yale-educated sex therapist and HBO-featured best-selling author Susan M. Block, Ph.D.

The Institute offers private sex therapy, relationship counseling, fantasy roleplay, fetish exploration, Bonobo Liberation Therapy and life coaching over the telephone as well as via webcam and in-personat our center in West LA. We also give sex educational seminars and produce The Dr. Susan Block Show, presenting information and entertainment on a variety of sexual subjects. The Institute offers a wide selection of erotic sex educational and inspirational materials, including books, articles, DVDs, CDs, downloads, video and audio streams, aphrodisiacs, erotic art, fashions, information on bonobos, sex toys and accessories.

Our mission is to assist individuals, couples, groups and communities to explore and unlock the “secrets” of sexuality and to support them in finding ways to meet their needs and desires in positive, non-harmful ways.
