Feather River College Fish Hatchery

The FRC fish hatchery is the only community college in California to offer hands-on experience with aquaculture and hatchery techniques.
We offer students the opportunity to participate in rearing trout from egg to catchable size, work with recirculating and pond systems, and grow plants and fish in aquaponics systems. Additionally, we breed a wide variety of aquarium fish.
