Why is it called a pub with no name?

In June of 2015 a man’s life changed overnight. Within 24 hours a man’s son went from a healthy 15-year-old teenager to being airlifted on a private medical flight to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital upon being diagnosed with Leukemia. The owner had spent the last 12 years as Sr. Director of Concessions for LSU Athletic Department. Now it became a different kind of battle on a different kind of field. A decision had to be made resign from LSU and take on a business that would allow him to be more flexible with his time to care for his son. To bring a concept back of SERVICE to an industry he had spent the last 40 years in light of. All the wall settings, memorabilia and ideas are a collection of his life over the past decades, finally he had a place and became Mr. Mom to his 13 year old daughter, now that was his biggest challenge. So the idea began, how to put 40 years of corporate restaurant experience and coaching professional football in the Arena League to work. The idea became a reality, call it A Pub With No Name, and when his son beats his battle with cancer, allow him to name it whatever he chooses. One of the owners most honored accomplishments was the day Legendary Coach Skip Bertman asked him to join him in a business leaders seminar and tell the story of the success his team had accomplished over past years at LSU. By the way, anyone want to learn what a great leader is, spend time in meetings with Coach Bertman, you will soon understand what made him the legend he is today!!!! A Pub With No Name has a simple philosophy, “the will to win is important, but the will to prepare is vital” and as we make this journey, we will prepare every day to provide the best in service, great food, and YOUR local neighborhood pub!
