A Snail's Pace Running Academy-Mission Viejo

A Snail's Pace Running Academy offers structured training to runners/walkers of all levels. Our goal is to safely train each individual and help them accomplish their own "A Fitness Lifestyle" goals.

SNAIL STEPS100- This class is an introduction to Aerobic fitness. You will be shown the proper warm-ups and cool-downs to introduce your body to physical activity. This is a great class for recovering heart patients or diabetics.

RUNNING 101- Beginning 5k training in 36 sessions (a very basic entry level class for long time walkers who want the next challenging step)

RUNNIING 102- Beginning 10k training in 36 sessions (challenge yourself and maintain fitness at the same time) This group while introduce you to track workouts, hill repeats and other challenging, yet fun running skills. A stronger emphasis will be placed on running form and gait.

Running 103- Fitness and 10-mile training in 36 sessions (running with an introduction to core and strength training exercises) This is a group course to continue your advancement in your running endurance while making your an overall stronger athlete.

RUNNING 201- Half Marathon Training in a 16 week, 1x a week group. (In this course, you have option of running with our coached 102 group during the week at no additional charge) We can help you complete your first half marathon or prepare you improve upon a previous events time. As with all of our courses, we are very goal oriented.

RUNNING 301- Marathon Training in 26 a week, 1x a week group. (In this group, you have the option of running with our coached 102 group during the week at no additional charge)We offer multiple training schedules depending on the ability of the runner. We are here to challenge you but safely guide you through the training session.

We will not only get you to the start line of the race, but prepare you successfully complete your event.
