Alan Rocca is a third generation jeweler. His grandfather opened a business in 1920 on state street in Chicago. He was an inspiration to his three sons.
Alan's' father sold fine watches and hand-made jewelry from his store in Chicago's Western suburbs. Alan's two uncles preserved their jeweler's heritage. One became a craftsman and the other a prominent businessman on Jeweler's Row in Chicago.
Alan Completed his coursework with the Gemological Institute of America in 1975 and began Alan Rocca Fine Jewelry in Lombard in 1976. Fine handcrafted custom jewelry remains the key to his success.
