Aledo Tutoring

Hi, my name is Mike Trinka and I love to help people learn. Read on if you'd like to know a little bit more about me.

I love school so much that I went three more times after high school! I earned a Bachelor of Science and a Master of Science degree in Computer Engineering from Texas A&M University, and an MBA from TCU. While I was a grad student at A&M I was given the opportunity to teach a class in the Electrical Engineering department (Introduction to Digital Logic Design). I've been hooked on teaching ever since.

I am currently employed as a software engineer. I have had many coworkers tell me that I have the heart of a teacher, and that I should find an outlet for my teaching needs. I started tutoring and the rest is history!

I charge $50 per hour, and groups are welcome. I tutor out of my home, so please call or text for an appointment and I'll send you my address at that time. My schedule varies with my kids' activity schedules, but I try to have one appointment in the late afternoon when Aledo High School gets out, and then I start again at 8:00 PM after "family time". I'm a night owl, so I don't mind tutoring late at night - some students with hectic extra-curricular schedules prefer this option.
