Soft tissue and joint pain is most often due to imbalace and immobility of the tissues acting on joints. As we go through life our bodies cope with many types of stress, such as, injuries, repetitive motions, and habitual imbalances. All of these create restrictions in the fascia and soft tissues of the body. Through Myofascial Release, CranioSacral Therapy, and Structural Integration, we can release and mobilize those tissues. With the restricions gone or reduced the body is able to create balance in joints and and pressure is relieved on pain sensitive structures. In addition we teach clients self treatment techniques to relieve pain and restrictions at home with simple tools.
The options of drugs and/or surgery are not the best or safest choices when simple release is all that is necessary to heal. This is true in most cases of Myo-Skeletal pains. Please feel free to call if you have any questions about what you have been experiencing or our techniques.
