Allen Priebe Gallery

The Allen Priebe Art Gallery opened in 1971 in the newly-completed Arts and Communication Center on the University of Wisconsin-Oshkosh campus. The gallery is named in memory of Allen Priebe, a member of the UW Oshkosh art faculty and teacher at the Rose Swart Campus School, until his death in 1965. The gallery is located on the first floor of the Arts and Communication building.

Each school year the gallery hosts numerous exhibits, giving the university community and the public a chance to meet visiting artists and view a variety of art exhibitions. We have recently expanded our regular schedule to include more exhibitions in The Annex Gallery. These exhibits are selected by a board of students elected at the end of each spring semester. The board meets regularly with a designated art faculty director.

There is no admission charge. Refreshments are served during opening/artist receptions.
