Alternative Underground

Conveniently located on Main Street (only five minutes away from Iowa State), The Alternative Underground is the ideal space for music -- the creative atmosphere is perfect for creating music, while remaining distraction-free so that your time spent here will be as productive as possible. Our facilities closely mimic the sound you'll encounter in a live performance, so whether you need one session before the big gig, or you want to reserve a weekly session, this is the place for you. With access to industry standard gear at an affordable price and a knowledgeable staff to help you out, The Alternative Underground is the perfect place to refine your band's sound.

Facilities contain a full-sized PA and optional drum set for your use, as well as a lounge area and refreshments. Available for one-time use or rent for the entire month. One-time access starting at $100/night (One 4-hour session) or monthly access starting at $320/month (four 4-hour sessions).
