The American Artifact Co. is here to celebrate Americana and the American Spirit. This modern day, brick-and-mortar store is a throwback to the days of shopping in a warm environment, paired with today's "Maker" spirit. Every item we sell is carefully curated to provide you with locally made products, awesome vintage finds and handcrafted goodness. We do our best to deliver the best local products you can use, but we do have some mass market items – only the special ones – to round out a fabulous offering to the locals.

We want our items to become a conversation piece and add a special meaning to your home or office. Many of our craftsmen are second and third generation and their traditions have been passed down through the generations. We buy from real people – with faces, studios and stories. These are the people who are creating tomorrow’s American Artifact.

Our goal is to support and celebrate local artists, those in Excelsior Springs and beyond, by providing a store that appreciates handcrafted products from throughout America.
