Apache Closet

The Apache Closet was founded in December, 2006 through the Kindness of my friends. I was overwhelmed for the huge number of donation of clothing that they gave me. I discuss the situation with Mrs.Parkinson and came up the idea of helping students in need of clothing as well as their families. We were trying to find a perfect name for it when the word closet cross our minds but there was something missing. Whose the closet belong to? To the Apaches of course! The project became officially “TheApache Closet.” The concept was presented to Mr. Chacon and he liked the idea. A private room off the main floor of the library is available for selecting and trying on clothes wherever students families need help. This project continues to be supported by my friends, staff and students at Sanger High School.
