F.J. “Red” Kane Park was dedicated in 1995 to honor a true sportsman who used his aggressive
and can-do style to impact Arlington and make it a better place. Kane, a former professional
hockey player, served on the Parks and Recreation Board, including as its chair from 1976-1981.
