Art Florida Academy (formerly Romero Hidalgo Artists’ Studios), is a Fine Art Academy founded in 1999. This private academy prides itself on being the first Academic Atelier program in Miami, Fl.

Our academy has dedicated itself to preserve the old masters’ teaching methods, tradition and techniques to achieve the highest quality of original fine art. These has made our studios a unique source for those willing to learn and develop as professional artists. We hold various events throughout the year, workshops, lectures, guest artists, and exhibitions in our studio.

MyArt Ventures is a division of Art Florida Academy, which specializes in Painting Workshop Vacations. As artists we know that there is no better feeling then having your sketchbook with you on a beautiful day and being awe-inspired by the landscape in front of you. The stunning scenery, sounds, sweet aromas and local customs of a country all play part in stimulating our creativity and can bring the best in an artist.

MyArt Ventures combines your love for painting and travel making it an ideal vacation. We will have the opportunity to paint, sketch, visit famous museums, local artist, discover out-of-the-way places as well as legendary sights. We will stay in beautiful places, sample local cuisine and share our experiences with people we meet in our journeys all while being guided by well known artist as instructors.

All your travel arrangements will be taken care for you from the beginning till the end - this will allow you the artist to fully engage in painting and enjoying yourself. All our instructors will do on-site demonstrations and give you helpful and friendly advice on how to improve your painting. Most of our workshops will accommodate artist of all levels and painting ability.

The Young Artist Academy is a program dedicated to teach young artists from beginning, intermediate and advanced fine art drawing and painting classes to children and teens in Miami. We offer classes and workshops for students from 4th grade to 12th grade.

Young artists are taught by professional artists in a real art studio, taking into account personal interests and special needs. We offer after school, portfolio prep classes, home school, spring break/summer camp, workshops.

We devoted ourselves to developing a curriculum that would enable our students to learn how to approach drawing, painting, and different techniques from a skill level which is in turn helping them develop a sense of self-confidence and pride in their artwork.
