Asheville-Biltmore Gem Mine

We are Asheville's only "Working Rock Shop & Gem Mine" If you find a gem in our mine (or our competitor's) we can transform it into an heirloom to be passed down for generations. Got your own rocks? We have been helping our Asheville customers, cut their own precious gemstones. We offer Lapidary classes, beading classes, metaphysical property classes, guided tours of some of the "Real" mines, wire wrapping classes, and much more.

Many of our students now offer their jewels for sale in our shop. We also carry a large variety of local artist's jewelry, and handcrafts.





Now serving a wider audience (ALL OF WNC), and a more central location. With our heart (Central Office) in Asheville we are free to service the entire Western North Carolina area with our mobile mine. We still own Maggie Valley Gem Mine, Rockin' Rock Shop & Photography on the Roll and our mobile mine will continue to service the area. Asheville will be our base and the Rockin' Rock Shop will be located @ 1055 Haywood Rd. Asheville, NC 28806
