Austin Zen Contemplative Care

Austin Zen Contemplative Care provides compassionate palliative care for the dying and their family members through direct support, spiritual counseling, caregiver support, support groups, workshops, and community education. From a Buddhist orientation of bearing witness and compassionate presence to help transform human suffering, we provide end-of-life spiritual care and ethical consultation for individuals and families living with chronic, life-limiting, and terminal illness, as well as group and individual therapy for loss, grief, bereavement, aging, and life transitions. We are also palliative ethics consultants and offer assistance and notary services for Advance Directive paperwork. We hold workshops and presentations for medical professionals, caregivers, social workers, therapists, and spiritual care providers.
