Sandra Leal (Owner/Artistic Director) began studying Dance at Age 4 with Ambar Gonzalez-Lomas in Nuevo Laredo, Mexico where she studied Ballet, Jazz, Contemporary Dance, Belly Dance, Tap, International Folk Dances, Polynesian Dance, Folklorico, Flamenco, and Modeling, Ms. Leal attended Laredo Junior College and obtained an Associates Degree in Merchandising and continued her dance education under the direction of Bede Leyendecker. She was the recipient of the Blanche Flores Leyendecker Memorial Scholarship, in 1988. She attended Texas State University and graduated with a Bachelor of Exercise and Sports Science. She was a member of the SWT Dance Club "Orchesis". Ms. Leal teaches Dance since 2004 at Texas A & M International University; she is the director of the TAMIU Ballet Folklorico since 2008. Sandra teaches Jazz, Ballet, Modern, Dance Conditioning, Tap, Aerobic Activities, Health and Wellness, and Weight Training. She works for the TAMIU Recreational Center as a Personal Trainer, Zumba, Zumba Toning, Zumba Glutes and Core, Zumba Step, Aqua Zumba and Zumbakids instructor. Sandra studied with some of the most important teachers in Dance, including Jose Greco, Barbara Angely, Janelle Ayon, Marc Aurelio, and Jose Porcel.
Licenses: Zumba Fitness, Zumba toning, Aqua Zumba, Zumba in the Circuit, Zumba Step.
Certifications: Certified Personal Trainer, American Sports and Fitness Association Hip Hop and Aerobics Certification, Body Pump (Les Mills). Zumba Core, Zumba Glutes.

Fernando Dominguez (Owner/ Designer) graduated with a Bachelor's Degree in Graphic Design from CEDIM, Monterrey, MX. He has an extensive experience in Logo Design and everything related to the printing industry both offset and digital such as business cards, booklets, banners, magnetic, stickers, etc. Being in the printing and sign business for more than fourteen years, makes a key element to this new creation of Baila School of Dance.

Mary Lee Santana: (Hip Hop / Jazz Instructor: Born and raised in Laredo, TX, graduated from Laredo Early College H.S. with the "Legacy" class of 2010. She graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Agriculture with a Certification in Teaching K-12. Mary Lee has acquired nearly 20 yrs of dancing experience. She has a strong background in singing and acting. She is trained in many genres of Dance including Ballet, Tap, Jazz, Modern Dance, Belly Dance, Hip Hop, Flamenco and Foklorico. Miss Santana is an award winning soloist/choreographer who has traveled across the U.S. She was the Co-Captain /Choreographer for the TAMUK Javelina Saphires Dance Team. She has participated in the NDA "National Dance Alliance" workshops where her team received national competition bids. Mary Lee was nominated to audition for the NDA All American Team. Miss Santana's goal is to share her dance knowledge and create superstars.

Elizabeth Gonzalez (Zumba, Zumba Toning, Zumba Gold Instructor)
Liz obtained her dual Zumba Basic and Zumba Gold license in 2011. She became a Zumba Instructor Network member. She started teaching private classes at Caesar's Reception Hall for the next 12 months. She is currently part of the Texas A & M International University Zumba Team. She is Aqua Zumba and Aqua Zumba licensed. She has attended and conducted a number of Zumbathons and Master Classes.
