Southeast Asian Cuisine is truly a fusion of wonderful flavors. In Malaysia itself, the cuisine is the result of influences from Malay, Chinese and Indian Kitchens, where locals are able to handle eating with chopsticks just as well as they are versed with using fingers on top of a banana leaf. Malaysian cuisine is a blend of spices, fresh ingredients, delicious unexpected flavors and aromas. This, coupled with the extraordinary flavors hailing from Thailand, from coconut curries to delicious fried noodles, allows for truly memorable dining experiences at Banana Island.

Banana Island doesn't seek simply to introduce you to the flavors that our chefs cherished in their childhood. Instead, we want you to take that first bite and be instantly transported to the streets of Kuala Lumpur, or the beaches of coastal Malaysia and Thailand. We want our food to take you on a journey, and leave you wondering if you should have brought your passport.
