More about Bartley Ranch Regional Park

Bartley Ranch is located just off of Lakeside Drive, south of McCarran Blvd. in south Reno. This 56 acre park contains scenic pastures, walking trails, reservable group picnic areas, a regulation size horse arena and warm-up arena, the Western Heritage Interpretive Center, the Historic Huffaker School as well as various historical ranch buildings and equipment. The park is also home to the Robert Z. Hawkins Amphitheater. The theme of the park includes open space and recreation while maintaining the ranching and equestrian image of the west. We want to preserve the agricultural heritage of the Truckee Meadows.

The Western Heritage Interpretive Center, the Brick House, and the Historic Huffaker School buildings are reservable for parties, ceremonies and meetings. The park has four reservable group picnic areas: Huffaker Pavilion, Last Chance, Plaza and the Flying B. Several individual picnic sites are available on a first come - first serve basis. The Robert Z Hawkins Amphitheater is the site for many public performances and is available for private rentals as well. Please contact the Parks Administration Office at (775) 823-6501 for building or picnic reservations.
