Beal's Barbershop

Locally owned and operated by Jeff Beal, Beal's Barbershop is a family tradition. Jeff's dad, Rev. Belton Beal, Sr. was also a barber at Court Square Barbershop and Mosteller's Barbershop. Jeff's brothers, Hugh Beal, owned the only barbershop on Pleasure Island at Kure Beach and B.C. Beal, Jr. barbered in Lincolnton until anwering the call to preach. Jeff owned "Elite Hair Design" in Boger City until following in his dad and brothers' footsteps to open a "mens barbershop" in the old Saunders Furniture Mart on highway 27 in 2010. The atmosphere is laid back with the charm of the "good ol' days" barbershops. It's common to find a group of men sitting around, reading magazines, listening to Jeff's amusing jokes and stories, or just telling lies! Jeff strives to not only run a first rate barbershop but also a place for gentlemen to relax, chat with their buddies, and have a good laugh!
