Bear's Lair

Other amenities include your own charming living room, kitchen & bar. Relax on our huge covered porch and enjoy being surrounded by the big trees of a private half-acre park.

White Pines Lake, the Sierra Nevada Logging Museum and the Arnold Rim Trail are just a mile down the road. Calaveras Big Trees State Park is only 5 minutes away and Bear Valley Ski Resort and Lake Alpine are an additional half hour up the hill.

Bear's Lair is the lodging arm of the Ebbetts Pass Visitors Center, so we really can "tell you where to go!" From wine tasting and hiking to kayaking and caving, we'll help make your stay in the "Real Sierra" full of fond memories.
