Beatlab is Atlanta's premier DJ & Producer Pro Shop and Lifestyle Boutique. Owned and operated by an experienced and knowledgeable staff that specializes in the growing needs of today’s music industry. Beatlab aims to exceed the standards of all, by providing a truly creative atmosphere and a simple one-stop shop for Producers, DJs, Musicians, and Music Lovers from all walks of life.

The store carries vinyl & CD turntables, DJ mixers, needles, headphones, cases, bags, amplifiers, cables, midi controllers, keyboards, drum machines, samplers, line mixers, monitors, PA speakers, work stations, sound modules and other studio accessories.

We also offer repair service for new and used gear for most music equipment.

Our revolving inventory is complimented by one of the largest retail record collections in the South East. With room for over 10,000 pieces of collectible vinyl with back stock for years,

Beatlab has everything it needs to make every customer happy to come back for more.

Just a little background on the name Beatlab and why we chose it. First, Beatlab is comprised of some elements and bits of inventory from past Atlanta stores remembering More Dusty Than Digital, Satellite, Rewind, Ear Wax, Dumpster Dive, Marco's, Lion's Den, Jazz Space & Bass, Red Beans & Rice, Atlanta Bench, and more. Second, the people comprised of the "staff" are all long time Atlanta residents being in the music industry, DJs, producers, vinyl lovers, art lovers, nerds, etc.
So when trying to generate a name for the storefront, we wanted people to get a general idea of what our store was by just hearing / seeing the name. We also wanted people to know that we were rooted in Atlanta and were proud of that. After some alphabetical math, word plays, mispellings, etc... we discovered that by combining "Beat" & "Lab," in the middle would be "ATL". Hence, beATLab was chosen. We felt that "word configuration" met our needs to combine the idea of music, creating music, and where we are from.
