Beaufort South Carolina was established over 300 years ago. Beaufort was used for Sherman's headquarters during the Civil War, thus, Beaufort Antebellum homes were saved from fire or destruction. Today, these majestic homes abound on the streets of Beaufort as if you were still in that era. Our beautiful waterways lead to the intracoastal waterway so we have many visitors that come here by boats.
