Located in the D-Building on the west side of the CBC campus, the planetarium is open to the public every Thursday (through Sept. 1, shows at 10am and 11am), Friday (year-round, shows at 7pm and 8pm) and Saturday (year-round, shows at 2pm and 3pm).
A typical hour-long show includes a 20-30 minute live presentation and a 25-30 minute full-dome movie. Presentation topics may include solar system or constellation tours, what's visible in the current night sky, and astronomy in the news. We are happy to present a topic relevant to your group; please contact us!
Shows are intended to meet a variety of audience age groups, but some movies may be more appropriate for certain ages. Recommended ages are included in the description of each movie. Tickets and memberships can be purchased online prior to show time. If seats are available, you may obtain tickets at the door.
