Behring Jiu Jitsu New York is a member of the Flavio Behring USA organization. The Instructors of Flavio Behring Jiu Jitsu USA are led by Grand Master Behring, the Black Belt Council and each of the Professors. Each representative has been personally selected based on their character and experience but more than anything their actions and time within the Flavio Behring Family.
At Behring Jiu Jitsu New York we offer classes for Kids and Adults in Jiu Jitsu and Women's Self Defense and Cardio kickboxing classes. We strive to create a friendly and safe environment, where people of all backgrounds can come together to train, to learn and to grow. We attract students who are humble and kind and who show respect for the classes, the art and for each other. Bullies and showoffs soon find our school is not for them. We are more than just teammates and training partners, we are family on and off the mats.

Jiu Jitsu has something in in for everyone. Some study it for Self Defense while others are looking for a fun way to get in shape. We also have students who are in it for the sport aspect. There are several among our team who actively compete and have won many championships. While we do encorage our students to participate in tournaments, we certainly do not require it. Our main objective is to enrich the lives of many through the mastery of the art.
