As far as the food is concerned, there is absolutely no compromising in our kitchen. From the grade of our beef, to the simple fact that everything is made from scratch, we take great care in assuring that you will have a exceptional meal. Our wine list is a compilation of our personal favorites! We put a great emphasis on wines that are approachable and truly a great value. Our beer program includes 6 ever-rotating Microbrews on draught, most of which are Michigan made and all extremely popular. Our cocktails are all handmade with the freshest ingredients. Our philosophy has always been that it is the people that make the place. Warm hospitality is at the heart of everything we do. We believe that our employees are our greatest asset and work with them to create a comfortable atmosphere for our guests. We are here to make your experience truly memorable. After 60 years as a German Restaurant, we purchased the property in 2006 and made several renovations. The cozy atmosphere is what we call rustic, yet refined. During the summer season we have an Alfresco dining area in our beautiful back yard which is very popular. We also offer The Best Happy Hour In The North ~ 1/2 off drinks from 4:00-6:00 daily at the bar and the hi-tops.
