✸GOALS & OBJECTIVES✸
●Administer all Tribal Health and health related Programs, Projects, Issues and Matters under the auspices of the Blackfeet Tribal Business Council.
●Serves as a Liaison between the Blackfeet Tribal Business Council and IHS for health related matters.
●Administer 638 health contracts included under the Tribal Health Department and other Programs designed by the Blackfeet Tribal Business Council, to be placed under the Blackfeet Tribal Health Department.
●Maintain open communications with the HSS Committee and Tribal Council.
●Serve as a Mediator for health complaints concerning the health delivery system administered by the IHS.
●Assist and prepare budgets and funding requests to funding agencies, including IHS, Blackfeet Tribe, State and County Governments for health programs and projects under the Administrations of the HSS Committee.
●Represent the Blackfeet, HSS Committee and Blackfeet Tribal Business Council at Local, Area, Regional and National meetings concerning health issues pertinent to the Blackfeet people.
●Coordinate planning and utilization of health facilities with IHS and Tribal government.
●Oversee the development of long range planning for Tribal Health Programs and Projects including feasibility studies regarding the contracting of IHS Programs by the Blackfeet Tribe.
