All are welcome to participate in the Costume Contest being held on Saturday, July 14, 2016 at 1PM on the stage near the Colonial Theatre.

STREET FAIR - all day (all events on the street are free - (participants of the costume contest $5.)


COSTUME CONTEST 12 noon to 2pm

Our celebrity judges will rate contestants based on the following criteria: creativity, execution, originality, authenticity, and showmanship.

Blobfest Costume Contest Details

SATURDAY, JULY 14, 2017
REGISTRATION 12 noon – 1 pm
Location: 220 Bridge Street, Phoenixville PA (Great Valley Church Storefront)

Contestants see Intake Volunteers at 220 Bridge St between noon and 1pm.
to participate (when you register)

• Fill in the Contestant Information Sheet
• Take a 5x8 card and complete the description of your costume to be used by host.
• Pay $5 per individual (whether an individual costume or a group themed entry) in the group.
• Be available to be called up on stage at 1-2 pm

Contestants:

• Each entry (groups of one or more) will be assigned a numbered tag, the remainder of the group gets unnumbered tag. Group (theme) then is called on stage as one entry.
• Each individual in the group will pay $5
(each individual in the group receives a free tee-shirt upon returning the plastic tag cover to the outdoor concessions sales stand.)
• Prize winners are based on theme, so a group of 3 for example with one numbered tag would receive the cash prize to share if they won first place.

Costume contest will be determined by appropriate weather conditions for outdoor contest.
