Opened in 2006 by Owner/Chef/Sommelier Kamil Majer and business partner David Fris, Blu Jam Cafe has garnered an impressive following, becoming one of the best brunch spots in Los Angeles with waits that have been known to border on the two hour mark. Breakfast at Blu Jam Café is a high-flying affair, with a dizzying array of both global and home-style favorites. The Crunchy French Toast, served with fresh fruit and a vanilla-bean dipping sauce, tops the list of iconic Blu Jam dishes as a notorious crowd pleaser, while the classic Mazatlan Shrimp Scramble, made with eggs scrambled with fresh sautéed shrimp, onions, roasted red bell peppers, fresh jalapenos, cilantro, and mozzarella, topped with sour cream and fresh chives, never fails to hit the spot. Blu Jam Café also serves up a great variety of vegan and vegetarian options.
For those feeling particularly nostalgic, no visit is complete without the house-
