Blue Hill is a city in Webster County, Nebraska, United States. The population was 936 at the 2010 census.HistoryBlue Hill was originally called Belmont, and under the latter name was platted in 1878 when the Burlington and Missouri River Railroad was extended to that point. When it was discovered that another Belmont in the state existed, the name was changed to Blue Hill.
