Welcome to Blue Ridge Optometry! We moved to our current location at 5826 Ruebush Road in June of 2009 when Dr. Brandau renovated the building. Dr. Scott R. Brandau has been serving our community for almost 30 years, coming to the New River Valley from Michigan in 1983. He has raised his children, Elyse and Ian (both PCHS graduates) here and enjoys all this area has to offer. Very active in the community, he is a member of the Dublin Lions Club and can be found each year helping to sell Lion Dogs at the fair or Flea Market. Don't be surprised to see him pickin' his banjo on stage at Highland Ridge Rehab Center's fall festival either, for the past several years he has spent Saturday playing for festival patrons. His joy of fishing is something he loves to talk about with patients and in his free time can be found on Claytor Lake. Winter weather doesn't slow him down! He hits the slopes as soon as the snow allows for good skiing! Here, Dr. Brandau's care for his patients can be seen in the attention that he gives to each individual.
