The Graduate School of Arts and Sciences (GSAS) at Brandeis University is one of four graduate schools on the suburban campus just nine miles outside of Boston. GSAS is situated within an exciting, multifaceted research university that excels in scholarship, teaching, and learning.

Our 16 doctoral programs and more than 40 master's and postbaccalaureate programs invite interaction among disciplines, thus allowing our nearly 1,000 students to cross traditional boundaries to develop innovative methodologies, explore new theories, and produce path-breaking scholarship.
