The building was originally constructed in 1928 as Eaton Tower of Beaux Arts/Neo-classical design. It was designed by Architects Louis Kamper and Paul Kamper.

The building consists of 124 apartments on floors 5-34, as well as commercial space on floors 2-4, & a restaurant on the ground floor.
