Brows By Lucy

I'm a licensed Cosmetologist in the state of Illinois and owner of Brows By Lucy Inc. I am an experienced eyebrow threader for over twelve years, I started my training with Reema Khan back in 2004, and continued working for eight and a half years at North Riverside Park Mall for Salon Rupa, now known as Shapes Brow Bar. Two years ago I decided to go on my own and Brows By Lucy was created.

For the past 12 years perfecting eyebrow threading was my only goal, but with so many years in the field I have come to experienced that there is so much more to learn and that eyebrow threading was just the beggining. Back in 2014 I saw a post on Facebook about Microblading and got intrigued on the service. For ten years I have been removing brow hair to shape people's brows, but unfortunately not all of us grow a set of full brows that can be perfected by threading and shaping them to the clients needs and preferences. Everyone should be able to have a full set of beautiful eyebrows and finding a solution had become my new goal. Microblading seem to be the answer, not only can I shape people's eyebrows by threading, but with micro-pigmentation I could be helping those clients with little to no hair and help them achieve their version of the "perfect brow" they've always seeked for.

I soon decided to pursue training in this new technique of eyebrow shaping and in March, 2015 I took a Microblading class to learn how I could help those in need, ever since I became fascinated with this new concept of eyebrow shaping and as of today I have successfully completed 100 hours of basic training required by the SPCP standards specializing in all 3D eyebrow techniques, during that process I also exhibited the essential level of excellence as deemed necessary by APCA to qualify as an Intradermal Cosmetic Technician Specializing in 3D Eyebrows. Microblading will now allow me to dramatically correct or fully reconstruct lost eyebrows on those in need.
