Bula on the Beach Kava Bar

The kava business in Pinellas has exponentially taken off highlighting the demand for alternatives to the tried and true nightlife of bars and clubs. The kava beverage originates in the south Pacific and is known for is relaxing, euphoric effects. This traditional south Pacific beverage has been consumed for thousands of years and over the past 15 years has become popular across the country with Florida having more kava bars than all other states combined.
“Even with the number of kava bars opening up in Pinellas, the market for kava is growing and relatively untapped” says Ross Kashtan owner of Pinellas county’s first and newest kava bars, Bula Kafe and Bula on the Beach.
Beyond serving natural alternatives beverages, Bula on the Beach aims to recreate the intimate community-centric experience of her sister bar, Bula Kafe. Along with the kava beverage, Bula on the Beach will be serving local Kahwa coffee and an assortment of teas.
