Hello and welcome! My name is Catherine Beck, and I am a meticulous, dedicated proofreader. I have always had a talent for picking out errors from the written page, and it has turned into a passion for proofreading.

Court reporters, I know you work tirelessly to take down the spoken word verbatim, and at top speed. As a former legal secretary to litigation attorneys in New York State, I understand the importance of these legal transcripts and the impact they have upon a case. To that end, and in addition to my lifelong love of English, I completed the rigorous proofreading course, Transcript Proofreading: Theory and Practice, which is based on NCRA standards and follows Morson's English Guide for Court Reporters.
