BusyKidz Play Town

Although we are usually closed for private parties on the weekends, we are open the FIRST SATURDAY of the month for OPEN PLAY 10a-3p.

BusyKidz offers your children unlimited opportunities to flex their creativity, putting their big imaginations to good use, exploring new identities and collaborating with new friends to create little worlds all their own.

BusyKidz celebrates Folsom's tradition of focusing on the wonderful history of the area by mirroring our city after some of our favorite downtown buildings. Each building houses a themed area (i.e.: doctor's office, post office, bank, school room, restaurant with karaoke stage, house, costume boutique, library, grocery store, Lego, construction room, etc...) complete with all of the reality based tools your children will need to make the experience come alive.

We offer parents a large waiting area with their new full service espresso bar and mini cafe where they can relax and supervise from afar in comfort, utilizing our free Wi-Fi and enjoying coffee or tea available for sale while their children play. Folsom's newest kid friendly coffee shop!

BusyKidz also offers birthday parties, field trips, special events, parenting classes, and a variety of classes for kids and families.

History: BusyKidz is the brainchild of Folsom moms who wanted to provide families in the Sacramento area with a meaningful play experience. They wanted to create a beautiful play town, alive with the hum of busy children, hard at work, creating their own worlds or imitating the adults they admired in their real lives through pretend play. All share a passion for community development and had inspiring plans to create a safe space where children, adults and the surrounding community are able to come together as one to learn through play, music, art, and literacy. It is an honor for Jessica to be able to continue and watch this journey unfold and continues the work in aiming to create the perfect mama and family oasis!

Owner: Jessica is a mother of one sweet boy born in 2013. She has been able to stay at home with him and pursue her passions. As of Summer 2015, Jessica has been able to experience the life of a working mother, and is very excited to see so many aspects of motherhood. She is an experienced birth professional, substitute teacher, has a degree in psychology, and a passion for educating, inspiring, and supporting young children, and mothers alike. Jessica believes it truly takes a village and recognizes that our children are our future. Having a place like BusyKidz has been a dream come true!
