"Mexican food is good but it is much better when cooking the right way" my grandmother always used to say.

For many years we always wanted to open a mexican grill in clarksville TN but it was until 2014 when we have the opportunity to make it happen.
"Canela is a dream come true by the grace of our Lord Jesus.

We are happy to bring the clarksville community a true taste of the Mexican cuisine with a touch of south American food. We use the best ingredients to bring the best taste available to your palate.

We are also happy to say that canela is locally owned and family operated.

Owners Daniel Gutierrez and wife Jenny Gutierrez, are residents of clarksville since 1990.

Owner Mauricio Venegas husband of Carolina Venegas is a retired soldier from Fort Campbell.

We are very happy to bring something good and authentic to this great city of clarksville TN.
