Two of the most awesome forces in the universe have collided in a cataclysmic catastrophe of coolness! What are these two awesome forces, you ask? Why, coffee and comics, of course! And the only place that is hip enough to hold such awesome powers is CAPES KAFÉ, (formerly known as Cup O' Kryptonite) the world’s first and finest comic book and coffee shop!

CAPES KAFÉ is partnering with the Des Moines Social Club at their new location in downtown Des Moines!

The experience we offer at CAPES KAFÉ is unlike any other. Whether you want a triple shot, easy on the foam, vanilla breve, or you want to know which comic it was that Jimmy Olsen briefly appeared as Turtle Boy in, we have got you covered!

Along with our shop and the wide variety of great programs that the Social Club will be offering, there will also be a restaurant, a bar, and an art gallery, giving the people of Des Moines a chance to get together, try new things, and show everyone just how cool our city can be!
