Why "Catholic Engineers" instead of "Catholic Scientists" or "STEM for Catholics"?
1. I have my B.S. and M.S. in mechanical engineer and work as a Product Engineer.
2. When we think of some of the "big science" fields (like biology or physics), it's easy to relate them to the God because of their focus on natural creation. It's harder to relate a car or a cell phone to God. Our goal is to close the gap between man-made machines and the God-made natural universe.
3. I didn't see an engineering catholic group to join, so I thought I would start one!
All lovers of science, technology, math, physics, programming, the environment, or just of the Catholic Church are more than welcome here at Catholic Engineers!
