Children Of the Rainbow

Children of the Rainbow, Inc. is a creativity-based child care business founded in 1999 by Ms. Gale Walker. The school was created to address the chronic need in her community for quality affordable child care. Her schools provide a safe and enriching environments for young children and their families. Her unique facilities are centrally located to serve San Diego's oldest and most culturally diverse and economically disadvantaged areas: Logan Heights, Barrio Logan, Stockton, Grant Hill, Golden Hill, Downtown San Diego, City Heights, Lincoln Park, Valencia Park, Oak Park Creek, Marketplace and surrounding San Diego areas.

Ms. Walker and Children of the Rainbow have received numerous awards for excellence over the past decade in business and community service.

We at Children of the Rainbow provide quality child care for babies from 6 weeks old to children up to five years old using a creativity based curriculum. Our programs are dedicated to enhancing the development of each child's individual gifts and talents, in the process we enable them to develop a healthy respect for their culture and the cultures of others. We teach early reading and prepare our students for Kindergarten readiness. At Children of the Rainbow we feel everyday provides us a new opportunity to make this a better world - one child at a time.
