“Whoever drinks the water I give them will never thirst. Indeed, the water I give them will become in them a spring of water welling up to eternal life.”
-Jesus of Nazareth, John 4:13
For centuries wells have been a source of life. In many regions, people walk for hours, in extreme conditions, simply to make a draw from the well and to carry its life giving bounty back to others. The next day, these same people wake up and do it all over again. The fundamental need of the life drawn makes the journey necessary. In John 4, Jacob’s well was a source of life to the Samaritan woman, as the water drawn fulfilled the demands of her physical needs, but it was her encounter with Jesus that allowed this well to now answer the most vital of needs, the cry of her spirit for eternal life.
Church at the Well welcomes everyone, not only those who have walked with Jesus their entire lives but also those who are open to the possibility that God does exist. We are a non-denominational, scripturally based assembly with a heart to love others and to serve the Father.
Please, come as you are and draw from The Well.
