Cleghorn Ranch

Cleghorn Ranch is conveniently located just 45 minutes east of Austin and less than 2 hours northwest of Houston and northeast of San Antonio. We offer fun, successful texas whitetail hunts and exotic hunts. Approximately 600 acres are game fenced with trophy axis deer, fallow deer, blackbuck, red deer, aoudad and trophy whitetail. Meat hunts are available. There are an additional 75 acres for hunting outside the high fence. There are two creeks running through the property and 4 ponds. There is a 5 acre lake stocked with largemouth bass and a 2 acre lake stocked with catfish, one of which is a 26 pounder. We would be happy to grill or fry the fish you catch for a fresh fish dinner!

If you or your spouse enjoys equestrian activities, trailer your horse up and stable him in our 6 stall barn, with run-ins. If you choose to spend the night to take advantage of an evening hunt and early morning hunt, we have a lovely cedar cabin available. Although the “outhouse” is not attached, you will find yourself taking a shower in one of the prettiest bathrooms in Bastrop County!
