Owner Bios:
Lord Wizard Garrett - Tattoo Artist
I am Lord Wizard Garrett, a gentleman-raconteur, an artist, and a leader of secret rites.
I was born to a mortician’s family on Groundhog's Day 1981, right here in the Pacific Northwest, and I learned early that all of life is but a brief flutter of joy before the jaws of the Abyss close once again. My work is filled with this knowledge of the grave, and my investigations into the fine line that encircles our existence.
For anyone to truly seek the nature of things, they must first confront themselves.
As a child I had dreams of working for Disney but as I reached my teenage years those dreams had changed, envisions of myself crafting stories as a comic book artist. It was this dream in specific that led me to tattooing.
In 2001 I found a natural home for my art as a tattoo artist, spending those first few years in Georgia. It was in 2005 when I worked in Philly with Philadelphia Eddie's son Bill Funk that I discovered the traditions of the past. Bold, clean and solid American Traditional tattooing found a place in my heart there but it wasn't until I began working with Inkmaster's Craig Foster in 2009 that helped me find the confidence I needed to run wild with New School dynamic application.
At this time in my life I began to further my love for comics by creating homage to 80's fantasy. Giving birth to my barbaric saga Brom Kah, and my collaboration with David Bollt which has been featured in Heavy Metal Magazine. In 2011 I had finally made my journey back to Washington State where I had spent 3 years working beside Bryan Childs of Olympia's premier studio Spidermonkey.
2016 marks a new beginning, as my wife Elizabeth and I opened our own studio CoffinBirth Tattoo in Shelton, Washington. This is where the magic happens and through my work I can help people to dance anew in their own flesh, to weave their stories on their skin, to bind and to bless and to ward back the darkness.
If I'm not drawing or painting I am usually with my beautiful wife and children enjoying small town country living.

Lady Elizabeth Adderley Mem.R.E.S. - Curator of Curiosities
My name is Lady Elizabeth Adderley.
Born during spooky season in England the year The Exorcist was released, I spent my early childhood engrossed in Edgar Allan Poe, Mary Shelley, Bram Stoker and Brothers Grimm books. Friday nights were a pure treat being allowed to stay up late to watch Hammer Horror classics and Alfred Hitchcock greats on BBC2 back when good old Britannia had a whopping two TV channels.
These early experiences, along with being raised with a mortician in the family, bought about my love of all things strange and unusual and a macabre imagination. As I blossomed into a teenager I discovered the visual wonder of art. Birmingham Museum of Natural History and Art became my favourite place to escape, an awe inspiring Victorian architectural building crammed with mummies, ancient artefacts, dinosaurs and exquisite art. For an only child this was a place I could get lost in, a world of visual magic.
In 2006 I left my managerial corporate job in the UK for a more relaxed pace of life in Cyprus.
Then in 2014 I met my husband Garrett, the Great Wizard. I fell in love with his art, and fell head over heels in love with him. After a whirlwind romance I came to Washington and married the love of my life, and here I now reside with my husband and our beautiful baby daughter.
You will find me at front of shop, ready to book you in for an incredible tattoo or hidden out back in my workshop, breathing new life and beauty into things once passed. As a professional entomologist, I am a proud member of the Royal Entomological Society.
Come see us, I promise to have plenty of creepy curiosities to delight you.

We are featured as a "must see" place to visit on both RoadsideAmerica.com and Atlas Obscura. We are Mason County's first and only curiosity shop and home of Sheldon the Tree Man from the hit TV show Hannibal.
