Colby United Methodist Church

About God - We believe God is love. We believe God is revealed in the Trinity as Creator, Redeemer, and Sustainer - also known as the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. We strive to follow the model of Jesus, who taught us to love God and love our neighbors as ourselves. The Bible is the primary source of our theology, and we also take into account church tradition, personal experience, and reason to guide our faith.

About People - We believe all people are created in the image of God and that each person is of sacred worth. We welcome everyone: spiritual seekers, lost souls, confident Christians, sinners, saints, and skeptics. United Methodists have a long history of charity and relief work, and of advocating for justice and full participation of all people in church and society, regardless of race, nationality, ethnic background, gender, physical ability, or economic means.
