Coldwell Banker® is the oldest and most established residential real estate franchise in North America. It was founded in 1906 after a devastating San Francisco earthquake.

As the city began to rebuild, a young real estate agent named Colbert Coldwell saw the need for honest and knowledgeable real estate practitioners to assist the many citizens that had fallen victim to greedy banks and lenders.

Benjamin Arthur Banker partnered with Coldwell in 1914 to found the company that is now known worldwide for its ingenuity and success in both positive and negative markets.

Always blazing the trail, Coldwell Banker was the first real estate brand to launch a national website, stream listing videos online, leverage social media and iPad applications, and design mobile sites.

And while cutting-edge technology is great, providing outstanding customer service and agent support are our top priorities. Coldwell Banker was recently named #1 for real estate training for Training magazine.

Our first office opened its doors in 1950 in downtown Birmingham, Michigan. That office remains our largest and operates today in a new, modern facility right across the street from our original location. From the 1950’s through the 1970’s the firm expanded to nearly 100 sales professionals and prided itself in a solid reputation for honesty, integrity and a diligent work ethic.

Over the next several decades, the firm prospered and grew by adding additional office locations and now serves the entire South Michigan market. The firm became affiliated with Coldwell Banker in 2009 at the same time it acquired several other Michigan brokers as part of an aggressive growth strategy.

Today, Coldwell Banker Weir Manuel now operates 13 offices in Southern Michigan with more than 450 employees. Coldwell Banker Weir Manuel continues to attract the best and the brightest and adheres to the ideals upon which the firm was founded more than half a century ago.

Our present Greenville location is comprised of a strategic consolidation of smaller offices throughout central and western Michigan. We can be found at the east end of the Greenville West Shopping Center on M57. Our talented group of real estate professionals serve the real estate needs of clients throughout Montcalm, Kent, Ionia, and most of the neighboring counties throughout West Michigan.
