What is the Health and Wellness Clinic?
Dr. Son and his team offer you and your family the best in primary care and preventative care, and you can receive basic prescriptions and perform lab work immediately -- all at the clinic.

Can my family also see the doctor there?
Yes, the clinic is open to all Trust members and their dependents. A variety of services are available for your family, including well-women checks and pediatric services.

Why should I use the services at the Center?
The Center is a convenient place for you to obtain preventive and sick care as well as health coaching and condition management. There are several benefits for using the Center:
Time – The medical team is both thoughtful and thorough for your appointments and walk-in visits. They will take as long as needed to address your concerns yet the exclusivity of the clinic means much less waiting.
No Waiting – This is like having your own private clinic – no more long waits at a Quick Care Clinic or having to schedule an appointment weeks in advance.
Cost – No cost for visiting the Center. Healthcare and coaching services are free if you are covered by the Plumbers & Pipefitters Health Plan plan.
Convenience – Fast access to care for diagnosis and treatment of illness or injury.
Efficiency – Scheduled appointments ensure little or no wait time for lab tests or visits.

What services are available for me at the Center?
Primary Care – For a wide variety of common illnesses such as sore throats, headaches, skin problems, infections, sprains and strains, blood draws, prescriptions, and medication dispensing. The clinical staff will also coordinate care with a specialist if needed.
Assessments – Health screening for cholesterol, blood pressure, glucose levels, height, weight, and Body Mass Index (BMI).
Coaching – For personal health issues or concerns including weight loss, stress management, tobacco cessation, physical activity.
Disease Management – For diabetes, heart problems, high blood pressure, high cholesterol, and low back pain.
Website – Personal health record, health information, and tools and resources for a healthier life.
