College of the Sequoias, Hanford Educational Center, is a two-year California community college offering educational and career technical programs for the residents of its district in Tulare and Kings counties. The college was established in 1926. The Hanford center moved to its present location (on 13th between Lacey and Grangeville) in the Fall of 2010.
COS Hanford is a full-service college center. The campus was established through public support of Measure C, a $22 million bond which Hanford voters approved on November 7, 2006.
In addition to many of the classes students will find on the Visalia or Tulare campuses, Hanford students can achieve the full load of nursing prerequisites and attend the college's police and fire academies.
