In 1979, Cottonwood Electric Cart Service was started by brothers Armando and Angel Salazar in El Cajon, Ca. The Salazar brothers felt there was a wide variety of private and commercial applications that would benefit from the use of small utility vehicles. Cottonwood Electric has been credited for many of today’s golf car innovations including the utility cargo box, suspension lift kit, and the implementation of modern day solid state controllers.

Cottonwood Electric Cart Service has grown throughout the last 36 years and provides service to all private, commercial, industrial, municipal, federal, and Military. We continue to stay close to our roots and continuously evolve using the latest and greatest technologies and products available.
