Creative Haverhill

Creative Haverhill works with the creative minds at City Halll and the Greater Haverhill Chamber of Commerce, as well as cultural organizations, creative enterprise, and individual artists and artisans. We make downtown more engaging and vibrant for our residents, which will encourage visits from our neighbors in Methuen, North Andover, Andover, Groveland, Boxford, Georgetown, Essex, Ipswich, Amesbury, Merrimack, Newbury, Newburyport and in southern New Hampshire.

Creative Haverhill stimulates our region's economic development by identifying and promoting our local artists, artisans, and cultural organizations. We're also fun to be around because we play well in sandboxes, share our toys, and stop to smell the art, history, and science in our own backyard. We are generously supported by the Massachusetts Cultural Council, the state's art agency, and a plethora of creative businesses and individuals who invest in the value-added creative economy. The tangible results of Creative Haverhill are more people eating in downtown restaurants, shopping at local businesses, using the new parking garage, riding the trains and traveling up river to share the experience of an outdoor concert on a summer evening.
